WMS South East Covered Mix is a 10-part mix of Cereal grains, annual clovers and brassicas. The cereal grains have been selected to provide quick palatable forage that can rebound quick to handle heavy grazing pressure through deer season. The biomass type annual clovers are designed to establish quickly.These varieties boast large leaves with hollow stems that fix loads of Nitrogen and are proven to be unrivaled in deer preference. The brassicas are carefully chosen varieties that have proved to be sought out by deer throughout our test plots. WMS SEC mix will make an unrivaled Fall food plot that will continue to feed your deer herd through early summer.
Planting Directions:
Seed Rate: 50 lbs. per ½ acre.
Broadcast seeds and cover ¼ inch.
Fertilize according to soil test or apply 300 lbs. 13-13-13 per acre at planting.
To Boost your Fall Plots, apply 100 lbs. of Nitrogen 60 to 70 days after planting.
